Report on UBA NSS activity



Children are the future of this country. By investing in Children's basic education we are contributing to the country's development and creating a literate and self-sufficient society.

T. John College NSS unit recognized the significance of education and, created a symposium for the young NSS student volunteers to actively participate in this appreciable activity at Doddathoguru government school, Doddathoguru village , (The adopted village under Unnat Bharath Abhiyan, a flagship project of MHRD). Initiated  by Prof. Vaishnavi.R , Department of Languages, T. John College, with the extensive support from the Doddathoguru Gram Panchayat.

On 6th September 2019, 35 NSS  student volunteers along with two faculty, carried out an activity in order to educated the school children on general awareness pertaining to personal hygiene, communication skills and their prominace, Social awareness on water conservation, usage of sanitary napkins, and so on.

Volunteers with the help of posters and pluck card, with a skit performed by our NSS students, were able to create an impact in the minds of the young children.

Adding to this, various Cultural , sports and academic competitions were held in order to establish a fascinating ambience among the children.
