Guest talk on Challenges of the current century: 22-03-2022

A Guest talk on the topic “Pharmaceutical; innovations: Challenges of the current century” was conducted at T. John College of Pharmacy on 22/03/2022. The pharmaceutical industry expert A.G Raghu with experience of more than 40 years had detailed the barriers and requirements for the drug approval globally in current and future market. The participants for then guest talk were Final year B. Pharm and M. Pharm students. The guest talk was organized by Dr Panner Selvam R, Associate Professor TJCP.


The T John College and School of Nursing is celebrating the 111th International Women's day by conducting a webinar on 'Gender Equality today for a suitable tomorrow',which will be addressed by Dr Tejeshwari B V ,Ph.D Scholar, HOD and Professor, Department of Community Health Nursing, Rajarajeswari College Of Nursing,Bangalore for all the students and Faculty members. We look forward to gaining knowledge on the very contemporary and crucial topic for a better future and better understanding of our society.

International Women’s Day Celebration 2022: 08-03-2022

T. John College of Pharmacy celebrated International Women's Day on 8th March 2022, organized by Drug Information Center, TJCP with the theme “Women of Tomorrow”. The event was presided by Dr. Kemparaju, Campus Director, TJGI and Dr. Vineeth Chandy, Principal, TJCP. On this occasion, a guest lecture was delivered by Dr. Gaana Sreenivas from Rainbow Hospitals, on the topic “Cervical Cancer’, to all the girl students of TJCP, followed by interactive session. Class-wise E-Poster, Extempore and Street Play competitions were also conducted which was judged by faculty members of TJCP. Nearly 250 students attended and actively participated in the above events.


T John College and School of Nursing in association with B-GHUD is conducting a webinar on IELTS, OET, PTE, TOEFL and Placement in UK on the 7th of March at 3 PM for the final year students of B Sc Nursing and GNM Nursing respectively. We wish the students a very enjoyable and fruitful learning experience.

Guest talk on Regulatory Affairs: 28-02-2022

The students of Pharmacy attended guest talk on 28th February 2022 by Mr. SRIVATSA RAO, General Manager from Micro Labs Limited. Topic Regulatory Affairs. Basics of Regulatory, Indian Drug Regulatory, Generics & Innovators were discussed. The talk was organized by Ms. SUPRIYA .R

PCR & RT-PCR Techniques and its Applications: 26-02-2022

T. John College of Pharmacy in association with Indigen Biotech PVT Ltd, Arani, organised a two days workshop and hands on training in “PCR & RT-PCR Techniques and its Applications” on 25th and 26th February 2022. Students of B.Pharm III & VII Semester, II Pharm D and V Pharm.D actively participated in the event. 25 students were enrolled each day and were trained by Dr S. Vimal, Director, Indigen Biotech PVT Ltd.


Happiness Department of T. John Group of Institutions organised a poster making competition for the students of T. John Institute of Technology. The theme for the poster making competition was “What makes you Happy”. The competition's objective was to instil in students a sense of happiness and creativity that will make them happy Students were asked to express themselves creatively through paintings and sketches. They were free to express their feelings and imaginations about what happiness meant to them. The students demonstrated their artistic talents by creating a variety of posters and beautiful artworks that conveyed the message of happiness in their lives.

Poster making activity for the students of Grades I to X at National Public School, T John Campus: 09-12-2021

Happiness Department of T John Group of Institutions organised a poster making activity for the students of Grades I to X at National Public School, T John Campus. The theme for the poster making activity was “What Makes Me Happy”. The objective of the competition was to kindle the imagination of happiness and creativity in the students that makes them cheerful. Students were asked to express their ideas through paintings, craft and sketches. They were free to express their thoughts and imaginations that means happiness to them. The young learners displayed their artistic skills through an array of posters and made beautiful artworks which gave the message of happiness in their lives and things that means a lot to them. It was a great opportunity to watch these young minds creating and displaying their ideas on paper and crafts. The students thoroughly enjoyed the activity.

Campus Recruitment Program: 19-11-2021

The T John College of Nursing organized a Campus Recruitment Program for the IV year B Sc Nursing students on the 19th of November, 2021 (Friday) in the College campus. The recruitment was conducted by The Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru. The program began with Introductory session addressed by HR and Nursing team at 9.30 AM, Aptitude and Nursing knowledge Test addressed by Nurse Educator at 10.45 AM, Group Discussion addressed by HR at 12.00 PM and Skill test followed by a Personal Interview addressed by Nurse Educator and Nursing Superintendent respectively. We congratulate all the recruited students and wish them very best for their future endeavors.


The T John College and School of Nursing welcomed it's Freshers for the batch of 2021- 22 by holding an Induction Programme in the campus on the 21st of October, 2021. The programme instigated the students towards the vision and mission of the institute by making them aware of the functioning of it through out the course period. We welcome our students with the enthusiasm and spirit to educate and learn.
