WORKSHOP ON MULTIMEDIA: 22-06-2022

The Workshop on Multimedia was organized by Department of Computer Applications, Fashion & Apparel Design and Council for Vocational Education & Skill Development (CVESD) in association with IQAC on 22.06.2022. The preworkshop on Multimedia was conducted on 21.06.2022, where the students were instructed to install the software’s like Adobe Photoshop CC 2020 and Adobe After Effects CC 2020 versions with the help of Mr. Loganath, System Admin.


PRESENTATION ON WORLD WIND DAY: 15-06-2022

On 15th June 2022, Department of Computer Applications in Association with IQAC Organized presentation on World Wind Day. The Objective of the program is gain awareness about wind energy, and it’s potential for reshaping energy systems, decarbonising economies, and boosting employment and growth. The purpose of the day is to increase public knowledge of wind energy and its uses.


PRESENTATION ON World Brain Tumor Day : 08-06-2022

On 8th June 2022, Department of Computer Applications in Association with IQAC Organized presentation on World Brain Tumor Day. The Objective of the program is Importance of World Brain Tumor Day celebrations; the day also focuses to highlight the common symptoms of brain tumor that could allow early diagnosis of the disease. People are made aware of important facts about brain tumor through different campaigns, events and discussions around the subject.


PRESENTATION ON World ocean Day: 08-06-2022

On 8th June 2022, Department of Computer Applications in Association with IQAC Organized presentation on World Ocean Day. The Objective of the program is Importance of World Ocean Day celebrations; Oceans are the source of food for billions while regulating climate and producing more than half of the planet’s oxygen through the organisms thriving in it. However, human activities such as overfishing, oil spills and plastic pollution have taken a toll on the water body and the marine life that it sustains. World Oceans Day calls to step up efforts and save the oceans from further damage while also taking measures to revive their glory.


“First Step Towards Your Cybersecurity Career”: 19-05-2022

One Day Live Webinar is conducted on 19/05/2022 at 10.00am by Department of Computer Applications in Collaboration with SOC Experts. Cybersecurity is one of the most rewarding and in demand professionals. Most of us believe that it is difficult to get a cybersecurity job, which is not the reality. In order to help our students, get better understanding of Cybersecurity careers we organized a webinar in association with SOC Experts.

ALUMNI MEET-2022: 09-04-2022

The Alumni Association of T. John College, Department of Computer Applications had organized the "ALUMNI MEET 2022"- to facilitate, consolidate and coordinate Alumni Activities in online mode on 9th April 2022. The alumni meet is to reconnect with the Alumnus and to celebrate their success and various achievements. The Alumni Meet started with a welcome address by Ms Kavitha Elango, CA Assistant Professor. The meeting was graced by the Principal Sr. Rose Mary Balappa.


Seminar on Dr. Ambedkar’s Indian Constitution: 24-03-2022

The Seminar on Dr. Ambedkar’s Indian Constitution was organized by Dr. Ambedkar Cell & Department of Computer Application in association with IQAC on 24.03.2022. The main objective of the programme it helps the students to understand the basic fundamental rights in Indian constitution. Students are significant as they resemble to be but are often exploited and denied their rights. So, it is very essential for students to know their legal rights. Although there is no specific term defined as 'student rights' anywhere in the Indian Law, the Constitution of India contains numerous rights that every student must be aware of:


PG-Orientation Programme- MCA & M. Com: 10-01-2022

The PG Orientation Programme of Batch 2021-2023 for the course of MCA and M.Com has been scheduled on 10th and 11th January 2022. Total 31 students have attended the orientation programme. The Agenda/Itinerary of the Programme is listed below on date on 10th January as common orientation. The orientation started at 9:30AM on Google Meet Platform with welcome speech by Dr. Monica, Department of Commerce. Prayer and Supplication was led by Dr. Felcy Judith, Department of Computer Application.


Adhisthana Report -2021: 30-10-2021

The second and final year students of BCAorganized “Adhisthana 2021” on 30 October to welcome the Batch of 2021. The purpose of organizing the function was to make every new student feel connected as an integral part of the TJC family and be ready to take on the challenges of the year ahead. Jovial smiles and high spirits marked the welcome party for the new students. The theme of the party was “Dress your best”, making the set-up at the venue look bright and colourful. The party was organised in B- block. It manifested youth and enthusiasm at its best.
