TIMS NSS Unit organized a Visit to Orphanage Home SARVA SHRESTA SEVA ASHRAMA, Gottigere on 10/10/2017. Along with the programme officer of NSS, TIMS NSS volunteers visit the orphanage insake to develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility. The students of TIMS spend time with them and also provided food packs to the orphanage children in the home.
“Fresher Party” in any college is an event which every student eagerly awaits from the time of their admissions. The 9th of October 2017 was marked as a memorable day in the life of every fresher’s of MBA 2017-19 batch at T. John Institute of Management & Science. The Fresher’s day was a day that was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter and happiness. The dress code for the Fresher’s day was ‘Dress your Best’. The celebration started sharp at 1.30 PM with the opening prayer followed by the welcome address by Prof. Shijimol E. A, Principal, TIMS and Prof. Swarnalatha V. HOD, TIMS. Prof. Shijimol advised the first year students to maintain the same legacy as was maintained by their seniors.

Com students of T John Institute of Management & Science (TIMS) have awarded the first position in paper presentation in the National Conference organised by IFIM, Electronic City, Bangalore on the topic "MIND POWER". Their paper titled "Power of thoughts: Leading to success" was selected from around 35 participants from various colleges. TIMS Congratulates the winning team and the Faculty Members behind them!!!!!

On 13th of September 2017, Wednesday TIMS organised an Inauguration program for I MBA batch 2017-19. The inauguration program was started with an Invocation song by the students of V B.Com, followed with a welcome address by Mrs. Saritha and Inaugural address by Mrs. Shijimol E A, Principal, TIMS and vote of thanks by Mrs. Ramya Bharadwaj.
In India 5th September is celebrated as Teacher’s Day as a mark of tribute to the contribution made by teachers to the society. 5th September is the birthday of a great teacher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was a staunch believer of education, and was a well known diplomat, scholar, President of India and above all a Teacher. Teachers mould the lives that they influence because the lessons learned from teachers remain with their students throughout life. We should always respect our teachers.

T. John Institute of Management and Science organized one day program on 9th August 2017 to commemorate 2017 year as 75th Year of Quit India movement and 70th Year of India’s Independence. The program is conducted mainly to sensitize the students towards freedom struggle and Quit India movement which led to securing of India’s Independence so that they know the strength in Unity and which helps in creation of new India.
