First year B.Sc(N) students of T.John college of nursing visited Karunashraya, a hospice care institution at Marathahalli on 15/03/2019. Madam Maria Sonia Lousis ,Research assist.,&Education &research took class for students on palliative care.

LAMP LIGHTING AND GRADUATION CEREMONY 2018 -19: 18-01-2019

Lamp lighting function for 2018 -2019 batch and graduation ceremony for 2014 -2018 batch was held on January 18th 2019 .The chief guest for the event was Dr. M .K Ramesh , Registrar ( Evaluation), RGUHS, Karnataka ;Guest of honour was Prof. Dr.Hemalatha R , Principal , Universal College Of Nursing and was presided by Dr.Thomas P John, Chairman TJGI. Lamp lighting for the fresher’s was organised which symbolises the entry in to the noble profession.


AIDS Awareness Rally: 08-12-2018

AIDS awareness rally was conducted by the 1st year and II year B.Sc Nursing students of T John College of Nursing on 3rd December ,2018 from T John College of Nursing campus to Weavers colony, Pillaganahalli,Gottigere.


School Health Camp in Govt.High School : 19-11-2018

As a part of community health nursing service, 4th year bsc(n) students of TJCN has conducted a school health camp in Govt.High school Gottigere on 19/11/2018. The programme was started by 9.30 Am, and finished by 2 Pm. The students of TJCN given health education to the school children's and collected their basic parameter's details. The programme was effective and informative .


Leprosy Hospital Visit: 16-11-2018

T. John College of Nursing has organised one day visit for Leprosy Hospital,Near Magadi Road for IVth year students on 16/11/2018.The objectives of the visit were to understand the physical &organizational structure of the institution,To learn about the functions of the institutions,To understand the types of services provided by the centre. The medical officer given the orientation about the hospital and staff nurses explained the clarifications of students. The visit was useful to the students.


TJCN organised sports and cultural fest " Festin 0 Beats": 05-07-2018

We TJCN organised sports and cultural fest " Festin 0 Beats" on 5th&6th July 2018.Our students enthusiastically participated in various sports and cultural events like cricket,throwball,volleyball,dance,mime show,fashion show,drawing,Rangoli etc..Our IV year B.Sc Nursing students took special interest in organising the programme successfully.

RGUHS –Inter collegiate Chess Tournament: 19-08-2017

RGUHS –Inter collegiate Chess Tournament, Bengaluru Zone, 2017-2018 was hosted by T John College of Nursing, Bengaluru on 18th and 19th, August, 2017.Mr. Suman, National Best Physique Athelete and an Alumni of T John Group was the chief guest. Students from various Medical, Dental, pharmacy & Nursing colleges participated in the tournament. Bangalore Medical college won the Trophy as Winners for Inter-collegiate Chess Tournament, Bengaluru zone,2017-18-Men & Women and the Runner up for Men was from Krishnadevarya College and Women from Dayananda Sagar Dental College. The programme was successful.
