"Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower." - Steve Jobs T. John School and College of Nursing has put a step ahead in making their budding nurses a 'Future Leaders'. An International Conference was organized on 17th June 2022 themed "Innovation and Transformation of Nursing during Pandemic". The conference aimed to explore the possibilities towards better health care with regard to improving Nursing Education and Services. The conference was inaugurated by our distinguished Chief Guest, Mr. Somashekharaya Kalmath, Senate Member, RGUHS, Bangalore, Associate Professor, KLES College of Nursing Sciences, Hubli, Karnataka; our honorable Campus Director, Dr. T D Kemparaju, T. John Group of Institutions, Bangalore and our esteemed Principal, Prof. Josephine Cynthia, T John School and College of Nursing, Bangalore. The event brought together a total of 275 participants consisting of graduates, post-graduates, faculties, and nursing staff from various institutions & hospitals across the country. The 5 amiable resource persons who graced the conference with their insightful knowledge on the varied topics were Ms. Rosalinda N Buenaseda, ACNO, Saudi German Hospital- Aseer, Saudi Arabia; Dr. Pavithran Rayaroth, Principal, Institute of Nursing Sciences and Research, Kannur, Kerala; Dr. D Santhem Sweet Rose, Principal, Makunda Christian College of Nursing, Assam; Ms. Rose Mary Anthony, Nursing Superintendent, Manipal Hospital, Malleswaram, Bangalore, and Ms. Teresa Donnelly, Director center of Education for Nursing & Midwifery, National University of Ireland, Galway, Ireland.

World Tuberculosis Day: 24-03-2022

The T John College and School of Nursing organized a Guest lecture and Poster Competition today in order to commemorate World Tuberculosis Day. The content to be posted for the post is as follows: 'The T John College and School of Nursing commemorated World Tuberculosis Day on 24th March, 2022 by organizing a Guest lecture and Poster competition for the students. The lecture was delivered by Dr.Shashidhar Buggi , MS,, Former HOD, Department of Thoracic Surgery, SBS Tuberculosis Research Center, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Disease, Bangalore-29. The event was filled with knowledgeable quest and enthusiasm gathered in by the students.'


The T John College and School of Nursing is celebrating the 111th International Women's day by conducting a webinar on 'Gender Equality today for a suitable tomorrow',which will be addressed by Dr Tejeshwari B V ,Ph.D Scholar, HOD and Professor, Department of Community Health Nursing, Rajarajeswari College Of Nursing,Bangalore for all the students and Faculty members. We look forward to gaining knowledge on the very contemporary and crucial topic for a better future and better understanding of our society.


T John College and School of Nursing in association with B-GHUD is conducting a webinar on IELTS, OET, PTE, TOEFL and Placement in UK on the 7th of March at 3 PM for the final year students of B Sc Nursing and GNM Nursing respectively. We wish the students a very enjoyable and fruitful learning experience.

Campus Recruitment Program: 19-11-2021

The T John College of Nursing organized a Campus Recruitment Program for the IV year B Sc Nursing students on the 19th of November, 2021 (Friday) in the College campus. The recruitment was conducted by The Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru. The program began with Introductory session addressed by HR and Nursing team at 9.30 AM, Aptitude and Nursing knowledge Test addressed by Nurse Educator at 10.45 AM, Group Discussion addressed by HR at 12.00 PM and Skill test followed by a Personal Interview addressed by Nurse Educator and Nursing Superintendent respectively. We congratulate all the recruited students and wish them very best for their future endeavors.


The T John College and School of Nursing welcomed it's Freshers for the batch of 2021- 22 by holding an Induction Programme in the campus on the 21st of October, 2021. The programme instigated the students towards the vision and mission of the institute by making them aware of the functioning of it through out the course period. We welcome our students with the enthusiasm and spirit to educate and learn.

Understanding Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease: 20-09-2021

The T John College Of Nursing has successfully concluded the Webinar on the topic 'Understanding Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease: Care and support in a Covid-19 World', which was conducted on account of World Alzheimer's day .The speaker of the session ,Dr.Riaz K M , PhD , Assistant Professor ,Government College of Nursing , Ernakulam, has done an excellent coverage on the webinar topic and his lecture has enlightened the minds of participants with new knowledge.

Webinar on Career opportunities in US: 11-09-2021

The webinar on 'Career opportunities in US, how to crack NCLEX- RN' Organized by Mrs. Rosamma Joseph, concluded successfully on 11th of September 2021 for the students of T John College and School of Nursing. The speaker of the event was Mr Anil George, Director, Dicarmel, International trainers.


The T John College of Nursing conducted a session on First aid for the students of TJCP on the 11th of September at 11 AM. The faculty in charge of the session was Ms. Jisha Yohannan in whose guidance the students of 4th year and 3rd year B Sc Nursing delivered and explained the varied aspects of First aid. The event was successfully received by the students of TJCP.
