His
professional work experience in Teaching and Research
over the last 31 years began as faculty, UAS, Bangalore
(1977-1992). From 1992 – 1996 he headed as Deputy
Director (Training) the newly started International
Centre on Management for Training in Economics and Management
for Sericulture (ICTRETS), CSR & TI, Government
of India, Mysore; He was selected in 1996 as Professor,
Institute of Development Studies, University of Mysore
and was Director for 3 years (1998-2000 and 2006), Dean
(Academic) of the Management School at Kristhu Jayanthi
Management College, Bangalore before joining the T John
Group of Institutions in August 2007.
He
received the prestigious COMMONWEALTH FELLOWSHIP from
India in 1990, FORD FOUNDATION (New York) FELLOWSHIP
1979 to visit USA and Canada, to present the research
paper at International Congress of Agri – Economics,
Jakarta, Indonesia 1982, Rennes, France (EAAE) 1986.
He
had collaborative Research with Stanford (FRI, USA 1979);
International Institute of Marketing, Bonn West Germany
1986, Rennes, France 1986. Winrock International, USA
1990-91.
He
was entrusted with the evaluation of the 10th mid term
evaluation of Agri-Sector of Karnataka by Planning Commission,
Government of India. (Through IAT)
He
has published over 75 research papers and two books.
