Strategies and Contributions of IQAC

The IQAC is an effective and efficient internal coordinating and monitoring mechanism. This cell has been diligently involved in helping the management, Principal and other committees by offering valuable suggestions and measures in order to have consistency in maintaining the quality of education. The work of the IQAC is the first step towards internalization and institutionalization of quality enhancement initiatives. Its success depends upon the sense of belongingness and participation it can inculcate in all the constituents of the institution.

  • The IQAC meets before the commencement of every semester and makes a perspective plan for the college in lines with the proposals that it receives from all functional areas like departments and administration.
  • Any change towards quality enhancement is validated by at least 80% of the constituent members.
  • IQAC to analyse the vital parameters like results , student activities, placements, research, faculty development at the end of the academic year through annual audits and recommend necessary changes to be incorporated in the future planning .

The main contributions of IQAC are -

  • Development and application of quality benchmark/ parameters in various activities of the institution.
  • To collect feedbacks from stake holders like students, parents and industry at the end of the academic year.
  • To submit annual quality enhancement and maintenance data and a self evaluation report every 5 years to NAAC.
  • To conduct workshops on quality related themes and initiating quality teaching pedagogies.
  • To ensure the adequacy, maintenance and functioning of the support structure along with progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks.
  • Enhancing personal and social skills among students for overall growth of the students.
