Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
Introduction & Establishment
In pursuance of its action plan towards quality up-gradation of higher education institutions, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), proposes that every accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure. To make quality enhancement a continuous process, T.John College has established it’s IQAC in the year 2004 following the Accreditation of the college by the NAAC. The IQAC has become a part of the institution’s system and works towards realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in quality towards promoting holistic academic excellence.
To achieve excellence in delivering quality education of global standards, coupled with innovative practices using advanced technology and expertise, transforming the student community into potential global leaders with accountability to meet the societal, national and dynamic noble challenges.
- To create and nurture a learning and knowledge based environment, conducive to the perused of quality education which would transform a socially responsive generation to act on their professional values and beliefs.
- To bring about their overall personality development, fostering a caring and creative environment that emphasises physical, social and intellectual development.
- To instil a sense of understanding, remarkable resilience and enduring adaption to diverse, completive and dynamic society.
