The Department of Hotel Management organized “Prakruthi” – the grand departmental fest which was well patronized by participants from over 15 colleges in and around Bangalore. There was a festive note in the air and the colourfully decorated venues vibrated with the sounds of speech and music.

The events organized by the department were the following:

Pour les gourmets- a culinary competition where the culinary skills of the competitors were tested.
Zest: A bartending competition where potential bartenders juggled their skills.

Big Shot: A front office competition wherein the competitors were given a case study to present.
All about Flowers: The participants displayed creative and colourful flower arrangements that enticed the viewers.

There was lively participation in all the events and the whole dept. was a buzz of activity with joyful interaction at every moment. It proved to be a highly successful fest.
