Department of Quantitative Techniques, T.John College

The Department of Quantitative Techniques organized the Inter-collegiate fest Sankya08 with mind challenging competitions such as ‘Olympiad’. The participants of various Colleges like IBMR, Christ, Jain P.E.S were given multiple choice questions in maths and statistics, in two rounds. It was followed by the ‘Pick’n’ answer’ competition where the students had to answer ten questions and solve one problem in five minutes.These events proved to be a real challenge for our future mathematicians and statisticians. The Department also conducted a ‘Quiz competition’ based on statistics and maths.The participants were from AIMS, Jain, IBMR, Christ and P.E.S. The students enthusiastically answered questions in all the five interesting rounds.
