A Glimpse into Counselling


On the 18th of January, 2017, sixth and second semester students of BA(JEP) department spent an afternoon session in a guest lecture presided by Ms. Anu Krishna. Ms. Krishna works as a professional counsellor, therapist and life coach and also moonlights a career as an author, and journalist; and her first book is set to release soon.

Asst. Prof. Michelle Barboza welcomed Ms. Krishna for the deliberation. With the session modelled over a foundational understanding of how the professional world of counselling psychologists function as, students got a complete picture of the various Do's and Dont's in addressing and working with clients. The session was very well accepted by the student crowd, some citing their interests in pursuing a career in this field. Asst.
