Christmas Celebration


On 22nd December, 2017, T.John Group of Institutions, Bengaluru celebrated  spirit of Christmas with joy and cheer. It was celebrated with gaiety by all the staff and students of all the institutions together.

It is the Christmas in the heart that puts Christmas in the air.The Christmas season is marked with festivities and rejoicing at the wonderful gift that God bestowed on mankind in the form of his beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Everyone at T.John campus look eagerly for this great occasion every year. It is one of the cheerful and enjoyable festivals of winter season. The campus was decorated with Christmas tree, crib and many more. 

The event commenced with more than 500 teaching and non-teaching staff accompanied by students with prayer song, bible reading and carol singing. The chief guest, Rev. Fr. Eldho John, a spiritual animator blessed all with an inspiring Christmas message. The Christmas cake-cutting ceremony by Dr. Thomas P John, Chairman, TJGI and his family Dr. Bobby Thomas, Wg.Cdr (Ret’d)  David Ajit Kumar Yohan, Academic advisor, TJGI and his family Ms. Florence Yohan and couple of NPS kids was indeed a memorable one as Santa Claus  distributed sweets as well.

 NPS kids sang beautiful songs with excellent musical instruments accompaniment gladdened the hearts of whole gathering, which was then followed by a couple of group songs by faculties and students of T.John Group of Institutions.

Dr. Thomas P John, Chairman shared few words on how the happiness within us can be enriched by exploring the simple ways of life. Wg.Cdr (Ret’d)  David Ajit Kumar Yohan also addressed the gathering. A quiz on Bible was organised by the organising team.

T.John Group of Institutions has been following the Rockefeller Habits (RH) practice from the year 2010. After the performances, the RH-incentives and placement incentives were distributed. Also, certificate of excellence for implementing RH efficiently for the year 2016-17 was given to Dr. Vineeth Chandy, Principal, T.John College of Pharmacy for scoring highest of 84.42% among all the institutions in T.John Group of Institutions.

The event was ended by closing prayer from Rev. Fr. Eldho John followed by Christmas feast. The whole event was organised by T.John Institute of Technology with the support of Administrator, Mr Roy M Raju.
