Digital Marketing Workshop


The world is rapidly shifting from analogue to digital. People are consuming more and more digital content on a daily basis – on mobile phones, laptops, desktop computers at work, and more – and companies have recognized this and increasingly adapting in their marketing strategies. Digital marketing is not only a rapidly growing force in the current marketing playing field, it is set to be the future of marketing, and it seems likely that digital media will soon replace more traditional forms altogether. To provide more insight on the subject and the career opportunities for MBA graduates in the area of digital marketing, Department of Management Studies, T.John College organsied a workshop 20th November 2017. 

The workshop was conducted by Mr. Amlan Das, Mr. Tarun and Ms. Prakruthi from Streamlyn Academy, Bangalore. It is an educational institution delivering comprehensive training on digital marketing to industry executives, entrepreneurs, and new graduates. To start with, Ms. Prakruthi gave overview of the digital marketing, how it is different from traditional marketing and its growing importance. Mr. Tarun, explained the evolution of digital marketing, global trends & annual spend. He elaborated on the various forms of digital marketing such as;

Mr. Amlan Das spoke on the job prospects in digital marketing and career opportunities for MBA graduates. At the end, students interacted with the speakers and clarified their doubts.
