Languages department (BA(JEP)) Of T.John College organised fresher's day for all the newly joined students of 2017 batch on 24th August 2017.

The organising team which included senior batch students and the faculties set a theme of typical Indian villages according to which the students were supposed to dress up in an ethnic wear.

The programme started at 3:30pm in the evening.  The seniors and the teachers welcome the fresher with enthusiasm and made fresher to dance and introduce themselves while they entered. The fresher saw that the class was arranged and decorated like a typical village.

The programme continued with lighting the lamp and each student were called up on the stage and were asked to perform the task by picking the chits.  The performances included dance, sing, rap and many more.  For the evening snacks all had different kinds of village food which again created an environment of village festival.

At the end of the programme the whole department clicked photo together and winded up with programme at 5:30pm.

The entire programme was filled with happiness.  The students as well as the faculties enjoyed the programme.
