The Management, Principal, Staff and Students of T.John College take this opportunity to congratulate Mr. AFNAS K, student of Ist Semester MBA, for winning Gold Medal in the Bangalore University Inter collegiate Judo100+ category. The event was conducted at Directorate of Physical Education, Central College Cricket Ground, Bengaluru on 1st October, 2016.
On 23rd September 2016, all 1st and 3rd semester students of the MCom course went for an Industrial visit to Dairy Day Icecreams Pvt. Ltd. The production unit is situated inside Karnataka Industries Development Board complex located at Harohalli, Karnataka. The students were taken around the different sections of the factory and were informed about the operational procedures undertaken and followed to ensure quality production. They were also taken to the packaging and dispatch sections to understand methods of inventory management followed.
The first semester students of MBA from T John College visited Dairy Classic Ice-cream Pvt Ltd on 22/9/ 2016 as part of their three days orientation program . This visit to the company helped the students to get experience on practical simulation and overview of activities carried out by companies’ .The product was Ice-cream. The Quality Manager explained the students about the quality steps taken by company to maintain the quality standards of Ice-cream. Further Operation
In tune with the T.John College MBA department’s declared aim to enhance the students leadership and team skills, a variety of training program were organised for the new batch of first semester MBA students on 20th and 21st September 2016. A set of selected and proficient faculty members from the MBA department were the trainers for this program.
A guest lecture was organized for the MBA Students on Orientation to Specializations on 14th May 2016. It was delivered by Mr. Syed Golam Gaous, currently working as the Regional Manager – HR (East and South India) at Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd. The second semester students of MBA attended this lecture and gained a meaningful insight on parameters while selecting and specialization and the scope in each specialization. Such value added program benefiting the students has been possible due the support extended by the Principal Dr.Shikha Tiwari.

It was delivered by Mr. Abhinit Kumar, currently engaged as the Assistant Vice President at Imarticus Learning. The third semester students of MBA attended this lecture and gained a meaningful insight on Investment Banking concepts, scope and required competency. Such value added program benefiting the students has been possible due the support extended by the Principal Dr.Shikha Tiwari.

The third semester students of MBA attended this lecture and gained a meaningful insight on wealth management concepts, scope and required competency. Dept of Mgmt Studies, TJC organized AMCAT on 28th April,2016 in association with Aspiring Minds. It is a computer adaptive multi-dimensional assessment and feedback technique that provides accurate assessment for employability in various industry sectors & job profiles. It was a 3.5 hrs exhaustive online assessment which covered Aptitude – Logical & quantitative ability,Skill- Specialization specific & Managerial judgement, and Personality modules.It also included Speech Voice adaptive test that assessed students on correctness and accuracy of the student’s spoken English.
Centre for Teaching & Learning organized a certificate based 31hrs exhaustive Professional Development training program for MBA II Sem studentsof T John College from 11th April,2016 onwards. It was a 24hrs intensive skill development program with 7 hrs of assessment spread over six days.
Ms. Aparna V working in Omnesis is a 2012 MBA student of T.JOHN College. She addressed the current MBA students on 23-March-2015. She shared her experiences of working in the IT industry. She also stressed on the importance of academic performance, internship and various opportunities available in the IT sector. She suggested to make the maximum utilization of all the activities like clubs. She also focused on the importance of updated knowledge which will basically give a competitive edge in the corporate world The current students of MBA thoroughly enjoyed her session and have requested for more such programs from the ALUMINI community.
