“It all started with a hope of creating memories and not dreams..” Force (Forum of Computer Engineers present Cognitia 2k18-The annual fest of Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The students of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, of T.John Institute of Technology had been awaiting the celebration of their annual fest which was held in the college premises on the 16th and 17th of March 2018.Led by the president of Force Shalesh Bhat and Vice President Avishkar Adhikari Joshi of 8th semester along with 14 dynamic party members who had a vision of bringing something new from the regular college activities.

Industrial Visit To Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO): 09-10-2017

On 9th October 2017, Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an Industrial visit for the students of III sem CSE to Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).A group of 102 students were accompanied by Prof. Ashwini Patil, Prof. Shridevi A Desai, Prof. Manjusha Kulkarni, faculty members of CSE department.


Orientation on Data Science: 27-09-2017

On September 27th 2017, Department of CSE, T. John Institute of Technology has organized a talk on “Orientation on Data Science”. The talk was conducted by the coordinators from ProEdge. The basics of data science were discussed and they explained various real time examples of data science.The session was very much interactive as the students started giving their own examples of data science and asking various doubts in the data analytic field.


Industrial visit to C-DAC (Advanced Computing Scientific Society): 25-09-2017

On 25th of September 2017, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, T. John Institute of Technology conducted Industrial Visit to C-DAC Supercomputing Society located in Old Madras Road, Bangalore for the pre final year students of Computer Science and Engineering stream. Ms. Radha N, Asst. Professors of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, accompanied students for this industrial visit.


Industrial Visit to ICAT Design And Solutions: 25-09-2017

On 25th September 2017, an Industrial Visit to ICAT Design and Solutions, Bommanahalli, Bangalore, was organized by Department of Computer Science and Engineering for Seventh Semester students. ICAT Design and Solutions is a pioneer in Creative Design and Media. Students of Seventh Semester were accompanied by the faculties Ms. Mamatha K and Ms. Elizabeth Benny of Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
