Visit by Delegates from Nepal and Neighboring States in India to T. John Institute of Management & Science: 30-05-2018

T. John Institute of Management & Science was proud to witness 20 visitors from Nepal and various states in India on 30th May 2018. The group consisted of academicians from Tribhuvan University and APEX college - Nepal as well as research scholars from Mangalore University in Karnataka and Tamilnadu, who were present in Bangalore for a research workshop organized by PRIMAX foundation.


Student Reseach Presentation: 14-05-2018

TIMS Students made their presentations on the Research which they conducted under the Student Engagement Activities on 14th May 2018, Monday. 22 Teams of Under Graduation courses consiting of 121 students made their presentations on the study they had done and the conclusions drawn from the study. The presentation was from 11.00 am to 3:30pm.


12th Graduation Day: 11-05-2018

T. John Institute of Management & Science celebrated 12th Graduation Day on 11th May 2018. The Chairman of T. John Group of Institutions – Dr. Thomas. P. John, Academic Advisor and Rtrd. Wing Commander Mr.David Ajith Kumar Yohan, Principal – Ms.Shijimol E.A., and Head of Department – Dr.Shailesh G were the dignitaries present on the occasion. The programme started with an invocation song by 2nd semester MBA students followed by welcome address by Principal Ms.Shijimol E.A.


Industrial Visit for to Raja Bricks and Manufacturing Industries: 26-04-2018

T John Institute of Management and Science, organized an Industrial Visit for UG students, at Raja Bricks and Manufacturing Industries,on 26th of April 2018. Initially representative from Raja Bricks and Manufacturing Industries gave a brief history of the company to the students. They theoretically explained the process of making bricks and tiles.


Sports Day –’18: 27-03-2018

T. John Institute of Management & Science had celebrated the Sports Day –’18 on 27/03/2018, Tuesday in College premises. As a part of the Sport Day most of the students had participated in any of the Athletic events or the Games.


Guest Lecture: 23-03-2018

T. John Institute of Management and Science organized Guest lecture on “Case study analysis” for MBA students on 23rd March 2018. The guest lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ramesh. V, Assistant Professor, Government First Grade College, Hasana.


Personality Development Program: 19-03-2018

Workshop on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Using AMOS: 17-03-2018

As part of Faculty Development Programme, a one day workshop on Structural Equation Modeling Using AMOS was organised by T. John Institute of Management & Science on 17th March 2018. The programme observed 29 participants which included academicians, research scholars and students from various Colleges and Universities located in Bangalore, Chennai, Suratkal and Belgaum. The inauguration was held in Room No: 101, TIMS Block. Ms.Ramya, Assistant Professor from T. John Institute of Management & Science carried out the master of ceremony responsibilities.


Guest lecture on “Current trends in digital marketing”: 16-03-2018

T. John Institute of Management and Science (TIMS) organized Guest lecture on “Current trends in digital marketing” for both Under-Graduates and Post Graduates on 16th March 2018. The guest lecture was delivered by Prof. Sendhil Kumar M, Assistant Professor and Marketing consultant, Acharya Institute of Technology.


SPSS WORKSHOP: 14-03-2018

We organised one day SPSS workshop in TIMS Campus on 14/03/2018. The main aim of this workshop is to help students to solve statistics and to get wide knowledge in SPSS and the programme is intended for MBA and BBA students with a basic understanding of statistics but not necessarily any previous experience with SPSS or computing. For many students statistics represent an area that they are concerned about, either because they have had little experience of statistics and this workshop enlightened the knowledge.
