T.John college of Pharmacy has organized a guest lecture on 6th march, 2017 on the topic 'Medicine Journey', by Dr. R. Rengaraj MD.DM, Neurologist, Lakshmi hospitals, Hosur, Karnataka.
Dr. Betcy Antony, Gyenaecologist, Apollo hospital delivered a guest talk on “Adolescence and its challenges in women” on 27/02/17. She explained the causes of women’s common problems in the young and what care has to be taken.
First aid training programme including demonstration was conducted on 13/02/17 for our 4th year B.Pharm, Pharm.D & M.Pharm students by Dr. Jai Ram Singh from JAS Corporate Management Services. The training programme was informative.
An interactive workshop on Biostatistics and its applications was held at TJCP on 11/02/17. Dr. Sudheendra, Professor and Head, Dept. of Mathematics, TJIT delivered the lecture to the final year B.Pharm, Pharm.D and M.Pharmacy students. Numerous case studies were also discussed. This workshop was very helpful to the students.
Final year B. Pharm students of T. John College of Pharmacy visited Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Bangalore, on the 9th of February 2017.
Guest lecture was organized by TJCP on 09th February 2017 for M.Pharm, B. Pharm & Pharm D. students. Mr. Shrikar, Manager, TCS, Bangalore, had delivered a talk on how to prepare CV and attend interviews’.
Workshop on Dinning etiquette / table manner including demonstration was organized on 08/02/17 for our B.Pharm, Pharm.D and M.Pharm students by Ms. Liji Thomas from Nouvo Image Consultancy. The programme was informative.
Workshop was organized on HPLC instrument for M.Pharm and Final year B.Pharm students on 28th January 2017.
Guest lecture was organized by TJCP on 20th January 2017 for M.Pharm, B. Pharm & Pharm D. students. Mr. Durgaprasad, Asst. General Manager, Karnataka Antibiotics & Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Bangalore, had delivered a lecture on 'Manufacturing & Facilities for Small volume and Dry powder Parenterals.
M. Pharm and final year B. Pharm students of T. John College of Pharmacy had visited Microlabs Ltd., Bangalore, on the 19th January 2017. The Industrial visit was highly informative and the students had gained adequate practical knowledge in the areas of formulation of various dosage forms (Tablets, Capsules and Semisolids), Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Packaging, Layout designing of Pharmaceutical Industry etc.
