As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, T John Group of Institutions donated Barricades to Hulimavu Police Station on the 29th Aug 2013. The barricades were delivered by Mr. Rajesh Naik, Head Marketing TJGI, Mr. Anand P M, System Manager TJGI, Mr. Ponnacha, Manager Estates and the same were received by Police Inspector Mr. Jayaram & Asst. Sub Inspector Mr. Fakkrudhin.

Induction Program for Newly Joined staff: 29-07-2013

An Induction Program was conducted for the newly recruited staff of TJGI on 29th July, 2013 from 11:15 A.M. to 4 P.M. in room No. 323 of TJIT (3rd Floor). The welcome speech was delivered by Principal TJIT, Dr. S Padmanabha. The following Staffs have presented their respective areas of expertise.

Alumni Meet-2013 by TJGI: 13-07-2013

T John Group Alumni Meet was held on July 13, 2013 and was a big success with more than 70 alumni participating. It was indeed a moment of happiness when the alumni met up their teachers. This meet was was presided over by Wg Cdr (Retd) DAK Yohan Advisor to Chairman , Campus Director, Wg. Cdr. ( Retd.) P. Sambasivan, all Principals, Dean and HODs of T. John Group of Institutions.

Launch of Renovated Website: 27-05-2013

On 27th May 2013, the official website of T John Group of Institutions was officially launched by Wg. Cdr (Rtd) P.Sambashivan in the august presence of Dr. Shikha Tiwari, Principal of T John College, Dr. Padmanabha S, Principal of T John Institute of Technology, Prof. Neelavathi , Principal of T John College of Nursing, Dr. G P Prabhukumar - Dean T John Institute of Technology , Sri. Joseph Vaseegaran- Academic Administrator TJGI, Sri. Rajesh Naik- Head Marketing TJGI, Ms. Vijaya Sriram- Admission Officer and Prof. Krupanidhi from T John College of Pharmacy.

Guest Lecture on Understanding Organisational Behavior-The informal Channel: 06-02-2013

The Department of BBM organized a guest lecture Understanding Organisational Behavior -The informal Channel on 6/2/2013. The resource person Mr. Royden D’Almeida is the Area Sales Manager of Revolution Investments, Bangalore. He is an alumnus of T. John College (BBM 2005 Batch). The emphasis of the lecture was on understanding the informal communication channels prevalent in organizations. He showcased the importance of these informal channels in understanding the culture and behavior prevalent in an organization and using these channels for positive communication.

Guest Lecture on Investment Avenues: 26-08-2012

The Department of BBM organized a guest lecture on investment avenues on 26st August 2012. The resource person Mr. Vijay Kumar is the Associate Vice-President of Anand Rathi with 10 years of experience. He is an alumnus of T. John College (BBM 2005 Batch). He threw light on various investment options available and investment practices in capital market. The session was very informative for the students.

Club Activities at TJC on 4th March 2016:

On the day of 4th march, Friday Club Activities was held in T. John College. Every Friday total of 7 clubs is held. Cultural club members were busy planning and discussing for graduation day programme (invocation songs and dance).Computer club members were divided into groups for the gaming discussion in order to prepare for the webpage presentation.

Oxfam India’s vision is to help create an equal, just and sustainable society by empowering the underprivileged. Oxfam Trial Walker event is a unique fundraising international event to eliminate poverty.

International White Cane Day 2015:

The Humanities Club, Dept. of Languages of T. John College participated in the International White Cane Day 2015 conducted by the Indian Association for the Blind, Madurai. During Aug – Sept 2015 the club members sold 2,160 flags for Rs. 5 each and collected Rs. 10,800. T. John College will also be honoured for their participation and will receive an award in the category of Gold Zone Blind Empowerment Champions.
