ENLIGHTENMENT FROM THE TORCH BEARER

Dr. Thomas P. John, the Honourable Chairman of T. John Group of Institutions addressed the teaching staff of T. John College on 30 October 2009.

It is generally said that “ a leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way.” The Chairman shared his vision with the staff, stressing on the core values of the group. He had prepared and showed the powerpoint presentation highlighting history & development of T John Group. His speech centered on three parts: History of the Education Institution, the current status and insights for improvement. He spoke of the challenges in the current education system and suggested some realistic solutions. His passionate words kindled sparks of wisdom and inspiration among the teachers, getting them motivated to be moving and striving the best that they can be.

The Campus Director Wg. Cdr. (Rtd) P. Sambasivan, who was present on the occasion, spoke of improving the employability skills of the students. Principal of T. John College Dr. Sister Flower Kommatam was also present.
