Trekking Trip

On 27th August 2010, I Sem M.Sc Biotech and I Sem Engineering students went on a trekking trip as part of the orientation programme. 68 students had the thrilling experience of trekking through Bannerghatta forest and reaching Bannerghatta Rock where they did rock-climbing. They also saw a huge old banyan tree and visited the suvarnamukhi pond. The students enjoyed themselves learning more about the forest environment. They also participated in various activities like games and singing.

For the second session they went to Bannerghatta Zoo where the conservator of the forest Mr.Milo Tago gave a lecture on diversity and biodiversity Mr.Chinni Sridhar, Physical Education Director organized the trip. Mr.Saju John, faculty of T.John College of Nursing and Mr.Bijoy, staff of TJIT accompanied the students.
