Seminar on Nanotechnology
Two students of I sem M.Sc. biotechnology, Ms Jeneta Alan and Ms Tiffany Fernandes attended a seminar on Nanobiotechnology organized by Quantum Nanoscientific Limited at Indo-Asian Academy, Bangalore on 27 Oct, 2010. Dr Anoop Swarup spoke about the various applications of Nanotechnology like Carbon Nanospheres. Dr Rajiv Datta explained about Nanotechnology and Bioinformatics and future prospects of the field – how nanotechnology could be used to combat climate change, cancer and slow down aging. Dr Anand gave an inspiring talk on current trends in Nanotechnology.
