Screening of a Movie
The movie, Life is Beautifull was screened for Semester –II, BA students as a part of their syllabus study on December 15, 2011. General English course of Semester-II includes much of War literature and as a part of the contextual study this movie was shown to the students. The movie pictures the pre World War-II Germany in the peaceful state and Jews enjoying their routine. Gradually it depicts the commencement of War bringing noticeable changes in respects to Jews who are discriminated everywhere and finally put to the gas chambers to die without any reason. The movie is all about a jolly father who succeeds to save his child from the untimely death as well from losing the hope for the better tomorrow. It is a beautiful movie spreading rays of hope in the most critical situation telling that life is worth living no matter how hard you face suffering in it.
The same movie "Life is Beautifull" was screened for Semester –II, BBM students as a part of their syllabus study on December 22, 2011.
