Savanadurga hills are located at an altitude of 1226 m above the sea level. These hills are considered to be one of the largest monolith hills in India and has Bangalore founder Kempegowda’s fort. Savanadurga is an area with two huge mountains & a vast valley around.

The MBA I Sem students of T John College trekked the Savanadurga Hills on December 15, 2011. The students were accompanied by Mr.Chinni Sreedhara and Mr.Govind Kumar, Physical Education Dept., Ms. Mohini Bhatt, QT Dept staff and Ms. Lalitha, Management Dept. staff..
