International Nurses Day
International Nurses Day was celebrated by T. John College of Nursing in the remembrance of Florence Nightingale, the pioneer of modern nursing on May 12, 2011. The ceremony was inaugurated by chief guest Mrs. Sageera Blowers (Former principal Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Nursing, Bangalore), and the presidential speech was given by Wg. Cdr. (Rtd) Mr. Sambasivam (Campus director T. John Group of Institutions) and Dr. Sukumar Naik (Executive Director, TIMS), The nurses day theme was introduced by Mrs. Neelavathi (Principal of TJCN).
Cultural, literary and sports events for Nurses Day
Students enthusiastically participated in the cultural, literary and sports events conducted by TJCN on the occasion of International Nurses Day. The events were pick and speak, solo song, group song, skit, rangoli, tabulo, mono act, solo dance, group dance indoor, outdoor games & sports. The events were judged by the faculties of other departments of T. John Group of Institutions. The prizes were distributed by the chief guest and other dignitaries to the winners.
