T. John College conducted NSS Introduction Programme on 29th October, 2011 at College Campus. About 150 students and NSS officials participated in the above said event.

In brief discussed the Objectives, motto and importance of the Nation Service Scheme. The Basic concept of NSS is to establish a meaningful linkage between the college and community for upliftment of the country. The program provided an opportunity of giving information to the students about development of their personality through National Service Scheme by participating in the social activities. The program also encouraged students to participate enthusiastically in the process of nation development and promote national integration.

Students enthusiastically expressed their experiences about social activities participated previously and their willingness to take part in the forth coming events.

Dr. George Esaw, Principal, Dr. Nilanjana Basu, Vice Principal, Mr. N. Ravindranath, NSS Program officer, Mr. Govinda Kumar from Department of Physical Education & Sports were present in the program. Mr. Servesh Kumar of III Sem MCA represented as a student volunteer.
