Introductory Yoga Classes Conducted in TJC



Dept. of Physical Education & Sports conducted Free Yoga Training Classes for the faculty members of T. John College on November 29 & 30, 2011 from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm. Around 30 members took part in the two days yoga introductory classes to bring down their stress and strain.

Dr. P. Chidananda, an international yoga performer has taken the classes and given helpful guidance to the teachers to cope up with their day to day life. Participants learnt Yoga Asanas, Pranayama and Mudras in simple & effective way.

Dr. George Easaw (Principal), Dr. Nilanjana Basu (Vice Principal) also took part in the event. Ms. Mohini Bhat & Ms. Usha Roghotham (TJC Faculty) shared their wonderful experience and said that they got a lot of information about the eradication of diseases through yoga. At the end of the session complimentary energy drinks were supplied to the participants.

Mr. Chinni Sreedhara (Director of Physical Education Dept.) & Mr. Govinda Kumar (Assistant Director of Physical Education Dept.) thanked the TJGI management for shoring up and arranging the programme which was appreciated by all.
