Innovative Product Development & Promotion Contest for its MBA Students
T. John College Department of Management organized an Innovative Product Development & Promotion contest for its MBA second semester students on 30th April. The objective of this event was to encourage creativity, innovation & Entrepreneurship skills among the students.
Students presented various designs of new concept cars along with alternate energy sources to run the same.
They discussed about all the 4p’s of marketing viz Product, Price, Promotion and Place in regard to the innovative models prepared by them. Some on the altenate energy sources displayed were solar energy, Bio energy, wind energy and water.
Amazing and attractive miniature models were also presented by each group. The event was organized under the guidance of Dr B. S. Patil, Director Department of Management. While talking to audience he appreciated the efforts and creativity of all participants.
Dr Nagaraj, Director TJIT. Prof Sriram, T. John Business School and Mr Mallikarjun Placement Officer TJIT along with other faculty members graced the occasion.
The winning team "Dezire Zone" was represented by Anshul Vaidya, Soumava Saha, Saket Kumar, Suchita, Shashi Singh and Aashutosh who had developed a car by the name "Gryfindor". Event was coordinated by Prof Ranganath Swamy and Prof Aradhna Yadav, Dept of Management.
