Industrial Visit, MBA (VTU) at Rail Wheel Factory

MBA department has organized an industrial visit in Rail Wheel Factory, yelahanka, Bangalore on October 8, 2011 and got the approval to visit Rail Wheel Factory for MBA students for better understanding the organizational structure, process, policies, production plant and its process, maintenance process, employee management, their rules and regulations, quality maintenance, technology usage and etc.
The MBA students of I and III semester under VTU along with six faculties as coordinators have started from the campus of TJIT, accommodated with two TJIT college buses by 10.00 am to visit Rail Wheel Factory, Bangalore on 08-10-2011. TJIT buses have arrived to Rail Wheel Factory by 11.30 am and Students and staffs entered inside the Rail wheel factory by 12.00 pm. All the faculties and students were requested to attend a RWF project movie in a conference hall in which the entire process from the start to the end was showed for the better understanding before watching the live process.
Students have got very good knowledge about Rail Wheel Factory.
MBA students and faculties were coordinated by the RWF staffs inside the factory were in every process of production till the dispatch of the products were showed and narrated. All the students were very exited, interested, learned and cleared their doubts, and they are very happy about their visit to Rail Wheel Factory.
