Jayashree P K, CA, the promoter of iBAS Consulting Pvt Ltd which is in the business of providing Outsourced CFO Services, Consulting, Training and Placement delivered a guest lecture on IFRS ( International Financial Reporting Standard) to management students on September 20, 2011. She stressed on the fact that India is moving towards IFRS convergence with a view to bringing uniformity in reporting systems globally and with such a drastic change in the accounting world , it is imperative that management students understand broadly the framework of IFRS. It was an eye opening session for the management students which has helped them to understand its importance and motivate them to learn more about IFRS. The program was coordinated by Ms Bhavana and Ms Deepa, Faculty management department.
