The Apprèt Culinary Club organizing a food carnival on February 26, 2011 at BHM Dept. for all faculties and students of T. John Group of Institutions, the people form different colleges and other guests. The guest who graced the function, where executive chef of Ista Hotel chef Suprabhat and HRM of Ista Hotel col. The food carnival was an initiative of the students of the Apprèt club, with the guidance of the Food and Beverage production faculties. This club was started by the 2005 batch with the intention to motivate the young generation chefs. It came into existence from 2008, and since then till date the Club has actively involved in various activates to encourage themselves and the fresh batch of students.

This food carnival had wide variety of live food and beverage counters around the world. Such as Indian Chats & Sweets, Italian Delicacies, French N Thai Barbeques, Mexican Hot Crunch, Royal Flambé, Cakes & Chocolates, Barman’s Special Mock tails.

The food carnival had started with the sale of the entry ticket of worth Rs. 10 and the various dishes in the menu was individually priced. The total estimated number was 200pax, but the number reached to 500 pax. It was indeed a great response and a wonderful experience for the students and the members of the club.

The program started around 12.00 noon with the inauguration of the carnival by the director of BHM Mr. P. Machado, and the Campus Director. The food counters where open and it was a huge crowd and very enthusiastic. There where couple of entertainment program to boost the carnival. The students indeed enjoyed and this was an idea for all the students of the department to encourage them as better chefs and positive entrepreneurs, the students definitely gained confidence in being the future entrepreneur.
