A team of fire fighters in the Company of District fire officer, Govt. of Karnataka, visited the T John Campus to give awareness to students about precautions that should be taken against fire and what do to when threatened by fire Mr. Nijagundappa, the District fire officer gave a theory class, where we distinguished between A, B, C and D fires. He also displayed and made a mock play of how to use different fire extinguishers.
Later, there was a dare-devil demonstration in the ground, like how to save an unconscious person from a tall building using rope and ladders. They also displayed the various pump jets in the fire engine and its operations. Mr. Chinni Sreedhara, Physical Education Director, T John College was organized on July 17, 2010.
