Cake Mixing Ceremony 2010, T. John College
The “Appret club” of The Department of Hotel Management – T. John College, under the able guidance of its Director, H.O.D, Faculty and staff, has taken the first step to harbinger the spirit of Christmas. The seven week count down for Christmas has begun with a traditional Cake Mixing Ceremony held in the Training Bakery of the department, ushering the good times and happiness. The mis en place consisted of an array of dried fruits, candied peel, cherries, dates, spices, bottles of wine, rum, brandy and several other exotic ingredients. The ceremony was presided by our honorable Chairman Dr. Thomas John, Wg. Cdr. (Retd). D. A. K. Yohan, Wg. Cdr. (Retd). P. Sambasivam, Dr. George Easaw, Dr. Nilanjana Basu and Mr. Joseph Vaseegaran. The elite guests present at the function were the principals, staff and students of the entire T. John Group of Institutions. All the guests took a plunge to mix the ingredients with great enthusiasm.
