On August 4, 2011 T. John College of Nursing, Dept. of Pediatrics and Dept. of OBG together conducted breast feeding week programme at Begur PHC. This programme was conducted by I year M.Sc (N) students of OBG and Pediatric Department. They prepared models on breast feeding techniques, proper latching and videos related to breast feeding methods. Students were given health education on new born care and breast feeding techniques. They were accompanied by Mrs. Fathmia, HOD, Dept. of OBG, Mr. M. P. Venkatesan, HOD, Dept. of Pediatric, Ms. Umamaheshwari, lecturer, Dept. of Pediatric, other faculties of OBG and Pediatric Departments.
