T. John Group of Institutions organized a three - day College Fest Blaze - 2010 from 18th March to 20th March. Various competitions were held on 18th and 19th March across the campus. The final day of Blaze – 2010 began with the arrival of the founder Shri T. John, Chairman Dr. Thomas P. John and his wife Dr. Bobby Thomas, Chief Guest Mr. M.G. Krishnan, Registrar Bangalore University, Mr. Chetan Raj Dev from Bosch, Principals, along with other dignitaries. After the welcome address by the Chairman Dr. Thomas. P. John there was the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Prof. M.G. Krishnan in his inspiring speech reminded the youth of this Group of Institutions of their potentialities which they could use for themselves and to make a better world. Mr. Raj Dev also addressed them and narrated an anecdote from his personal experience to encourage the students. He reminded them that they should be proud to be Indians. Mr. Chetan also emphasized that by having hands-on experience students could have better careers. Shri T. John, the founder congratulated everyone and highlighted the uniqueness of this Group of Institutions. This was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony. Winners received prizes for academic achievements, sports and cultural events. This felicitation ceremony was followed by cultural events which was enjoyed immensely by the audience. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by the Campus Director P. Sambasivan. Blaze – 2010 concluded with a sumptuous lunch for everyone.
