On August 18, 2011, Mr. Praveen Kumar (The Executive Housekeeper) from Crown Plaza Hotel visited the BHM Department, T. John College to impart the students of 1st Semester and 3rd Semester to enlighten the students and impart them the knowledge about the importance of housekeeping in the hotels which he did with the help of a presentation which was interactive and the students where very forthcoming in the session.

This session was followed by a demonstration of three different kinds of bed making in which he was assisted by Mr. Sandeep who is a very dynamic and good worker in his team. Mr. Sandeep and Mr. Praveen together then showed the students the different methods and ways of bed making with the variations and technicalities involved in the art of bed making. This demo was conducted in the Housekeeping lab where the two semesters where divided into four groups of 30 each.

This has given the students information and motivated them as a live demo is a different experience in all. So the session was an amazing one. We extend our thanks to the EHK of Crown Plaza Hotel and the training department for their efforts.
