TJCN Students Participated in RGUHS Ball Badminton Trials

T. John College of Nursing’s (TJCN) Ball Badminton team for both men & women participated in Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) inter-collegiate single zone cum selection trials for the Ball Badminton championship. This event was held at JJM Medical College, Davanagere, Karnataka on October 17 & 18, 2011.
Both men & women’s teams fought till the semi-finals. It was a great accomplishment for these students for they had participated in this university level tournament for the first time.
In this Ball Badminton selection trails four students (2 from men & 2 from women’s team) from TJCN are selected for the RGUHS University Team and they will play in All India Universities Championship held at Mangalore University, Karnataka. The selected members are:
Men Section:

- ◊ Jithin Joy (I PBBSCN)
Women Section:
- ◊ Neethu D S (IV BSc Nursing)
- ◊ Jincy Jacob (II Bsc Nursing)
Ms. Neethu D.S is again selected as the RGUHS Team captain for two consecutive years. This is an attainment for herself and also for the college.
Mrs. Neelavathi (TJCN Principal), Mr. Chinni Sreedhara (Physical Education Director) and TJGI Management congratulated her and also both the teams for their exceptional achievement.
