Students of M.Sc Biotechnology II semester along with two faculty Ms. Devi and Mr. Selvaraj participated in "Conference on Recent Trends in Genomics and Proteomics" jointly organized by Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology, Bangalore University and Indian Academy Degree College, Centre for PG studies, Bangalore on May 26 & 27, 2011.

The two days technical session was enlightened by renowned speakers like Prof. Rajan Dighe, Dr. Jayashree Shankar, Dr. Sami Guzder, Dr. Kaustav Sanyal, Dr. Harsha Gowda and Prof. Kanagaraj Sekar. Few students actively participated in quiz, debate and panel discussion held at the conference. The conference was well organized, informative and students enjoyed the two days.
