The delegates of Leela Kempenski visited BHM Dept. on 11th August 2010. Mr. Satheesh Karunakaran, Head – Learning & Development & Ms. Akshitha Suri, Executive – Trainings, initiated the process for identifying required skills and talents in the students to match industry standards. This is to match the Departmental priority as per the Rockefeller Habits. They recruited 5 Industrial Trainees from the Dept. of Hotel Management. These students will be trained at the Leela Kempenski, Bangalore for a period of 6 months. They also ensured placement for all the five students who have been selected, after the completion of the BHM course.

They visited and saw the learning standards in the department. They were delighted to see the compatible environment. They interacted with all faculties and assured help to the Dept. to improve the process of teaching Hotel Management students.

They also gave the opportunity for an industry visit for the first semester BHM students.
