Guest talk on Change of Attitude



The bright and lustrous morning of Saturday (December 17, 2011) was incongruous for MBA students of T. John College, as Mr. Harish Vittal from ING Vysya Bank – Head Organizational Development and Training visited the Camps for presenting his profound knowledge and expertise and for sharing his extensive exposure in out bound training methods.

The programme commenced with great enthusiasm and co-operation from the Principal of T .John College, Dr. George Easaw, faculties and the MBA students. The former delivered welcome speech for the hallowed personage. The programme was sponsored by “The Hindu”. One of the dignitaries, Mr. Sridhar, Senior Regional Manager from Hindu, addressed the crowd about the significance of Business Line Club.

Thereafter, the Guest of Honour, Mr. Harish Vittal, a very distinguished speaker ignited a spark in the mind of the audience by his deliriously fostering and inspiring session. He conducted a team game which really augmented exhilaration in the gathering. His thoughts and speech was extensively supported by illustration and amplication with video clips and slide shows. The theme was all about “Gene in your Bottle”. Each and everyone have a resolution to attain success; however this earnestness or will is hibernating inside. One need is to wake it up with strong determination and dedication so that success will kiss our feet.

For achieving success, a person has to bear tremendous hardships like an eagle which has to undergo excruciatingly painful process of plucking its feathers and breaking its claws and hook to increase its life span.

Success is not achieved at one shot. It is a long way predominated by perseverance. The path of success is not abed of roses rather it is one of thorns. There are also various deviations. So one should have a clarity of good and a strong will power or determination to achieve it.

Mr. Harish Vittal concluded his informative session with a parable which implied “Know your capabilities and utilize them”. Then, the honorable Principal, TJC proposed a vote of thanks.

At the twilight of the programme, the Principal, TJC and Mr. Sridhar presented mementos to the dignitary who addressed the fraternity.

Students were absolutely elated and grateful to the College for rendering such an atmosphere for exposure emphasizing resilience and advancement. The emphasis on SNIOP (susceptibility to the negative influence of the people) and the need to question glued belief went well with the students.
