Mr.Ashok Kheny, the Renowned Infrastructure Development Specialist addressed the Students, faculties of T. John Group of Institutions on Project Management experience on 28th September 2010.

Dr.S.Sridharan, Principal, TIMS, welcomed the special guest and highlighted his achievement s and excellence in Infra structure Development Projects all over the World.

Dr.Sridharan welcomed Chairman, Campus Director, Principals & Students of T.John Group of Institutions and students from AMC college.

Chairman in his address, expressed that the invaluable contribution of Mr.Ashok Kheny and his expertise were well known phenomena for the entire world and his presence here was very important for of T.John Group of Institutions as it would be an Eye Opener for Engineering and MBA students for honing up their approach in project management and the way to look at opportunity.

Mr. Ashok Kheny brought to the attention of the audience that it was earlier thought that infrastructure Industry was the domain of Government and never was an enterprising opportunity for professionals. Through a thorough environmental, Socio-Economic analysis and scanning the Government budgets /plans /schemes etc., he found out that infrastructure Industry attracts huge investment and presented a winning opportunity for Technocrats with a vision and committment.

Mr. Kheny highlighted the spectrum of Infrastructure Industry, Road, Rail, Inland Water ways, Telecommunication, Energy and Power supply systems connecting to construction industries like Cement and Steel industries. According to Mr. Kheny, his projects were always with a vision and big goal, connecting the lives of people of all Society at large, reducing the Urban-Rural divide and make rural farmers and rural society to grow faster.

His project winning experience in USA, Europe and other Asian countries has been highlighted during his presentation. Students, Faculties and all the Principals were engrossed totally in the 2 ½ hrs presentation.
