Alumni Meet

It was indeed a moment of happiness when the alumni met up at their alma matter. We, at T. John Group of Institutions, Bangalore had a memorable day on Aug 28, 2010 on the day of the alumni meet, which was presided over by Dr.Thomas.P.John our Chairman. It was also attended by the Campus Director, Wg. Cdr. ( Retd.) P. Sambasivan, Directors, Principals and HODs of T. John Group of Institutions. Dr. George Easaw, Principal of T. John College gave the welcome speech. Mr. Philip Machado, Director of Hotel Management Department gave his valuable suggestions to the alumni, especially on a core committee being formed and a constitution formulated for the same. The day started with the alumni sharing memories of their good old days in the college. They also gave valuable suggestions on improving industry- institute relations. More than 70 alumni attended this meet and also constituted a committee of office bearers. It was followed by a lunch session which was very sumptuous. They also interacted with faculties and HODs. All the alumni are well placed in companies like HCL, Infosys, Accenture, Taj Group of Hotels, IBM, HSBC, Atria Hotel, etc. At the end, they had decided to conduct alumni meets every sixth month. It was definitely a highly productive endeavor. As alumni co-ordinators, Mr. Rajesh Naik and Arun Nathaniel had all the arrangements for the event to be a successful one with the co-operation of the administrator, Mr. Vaseegaran.
